Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has introduced a new DC-to-AC Inverter/Charger. The APSX4048SW serves either as a standalone power source, an extended-run uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or an inverter.

It provides up to 4,000 watts of pure sine wave power to connected equipment, helping it perform better and last longer.

A reliable, large transformer design lets it power resistive electronic loads or large inductive motors, compressors and other items with high current needs on startup.

The unit can be operated in single-phase mode and an extremely efficient 3-phase mode suited for high-capacity industrial and commercial installations.

For increased capacity, up to seven total APSX4048SW units can be configured in a parallel connection. An interactive LCD indicates a wide range of operating conditions and diagnostic data, while selector buttons allow users to easily change settings and create custom configurations.

Key Features of the APSX4048SW include:

High-efficiency pure sine wave output, automatic voltage regulation (AVR) keeps voltage at safe levels without using battery power, can be configured for both single- and 3-phase operation, capable of parallel operation for increased capacity (up to 28 kW), LCD shows operational status, and four selector buttons allow custom configuration and an optional wired remote provides control from up to 9.7 m (32 ft.) away

“We’re excited to introduce the new APSX4048SW Inverter/Charger,” said Bill DeCicco, Executive Vice President International Business. “Its versatility makes it perfect for a wide range of applications. The unit can function as a standalone alternative power source for off-grid, alternative energy or a UPS for dependable battery backup. It can also serve as an automotive inverter for RVs, over-the-road trucking, conversion vans, fleet service vehicles and high-humidity environments.”
