Fabien Delanaud, General Manager Myriad Connect and Laura Chite, CEO, CIO East Africa signing the Fintech Summit sponsorship contract.

Myriad Connect a USSD technology specialist has signed a pact with CIO East Africa to host the forthcoming inaugural CIO Fintech Summit slated for 29th-30th May, 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya.

‘Myriad Connect is delighted to partner with CIO East Africa – the Summit’s organisers as the company works extensively with enterprises, including financial service providers (FSPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs) to improve competition, consumer choice, and ultimately financial inclusion said Fabien Delanaud, General Manager Myriad Connect.’

“One of the unique benefits of Myriad Connect is our extensive experience working with Mobile Network Operators (MNO) in Africa over the last 16 years. So we can bring our experience and insights from working with MNOs as we partner with enterprises to bridge the gap between the complexity and intelligence of MNOs networks and the desire of enterprises to tap into this intelligence and the user-friendly communication channels offered,” said Delanaud.

Myriad Connect works with MNOs and enterprises to deliver new mobile services to enhance customer engagements and improve service delivery, regardless of device or connection.

“Hosting the Fintech Summit 2018, is in itself a delight as the Summit will not only propel financial inclusion in Kenya but by extension the East African countries and to have Myriad Connect, a company that has been incorporating products and services to that same effect step up to show us how they have succeeded in over 16 years will definitely change the financial technology landscape,” said Laura Chite, CEO, CIO East Africa.

The summit slated on 29th – 30th May, 2018 in Nairobi brings together financial technology (Fintech) industry players, policymakers, innovators, investors and decision-makers in the Banking, Insurance and SACCOs.

“The summit will be a big win for both delegates and sponsors considering that Kenya has become a reference of the financial services industry taking the leap in digitising processes, securing critical assets and analysing data that’s making tactical decisions to better both public and business enterprises,” added Laura.
