Moving Towards Invisible Infrastructure

Join CIO East Africa on 1 September 2020 at 3.00 pm EAT for a webinar on How to Simplify The Shift To Invisible Infrastructure.

Hosted in conjunction with Nutanix, the free to attend webinar explores the hard choice facing many organisation managements and CIOs on whether to invest in on-premise data centres, embrace outsourced cloud resources or go for a hybrid of both.

Speaking at the forum are Rui Goncalves, the Senior Systems Engineer at Nutanix, Zanele Ntsokota, the Senior Field Marketing Manager at Nutanix, and Martin Walshaw, a Strategic Account Manager and Security Expert. Laura Chite, CEO CIO East Africa will moderate the one-hour session.

Infrastructures are generally agreed to be complex beasts, with many sensitive integration points between the different silos. These points often break, especially during upgrades and configuration changes.

Making infrastructure invisible and operations intelligent is, therefore, the goal for many providers in the market.

The webinar will explore the pros and cons of each of the aforementioned options, including potential complications of migrating legacy apps, the need to support next-gen “cloud-first” apps, and the concern of “lock-in” on a single approach.
