More than 150 senior IT and business executives from East Africa have gathered in Nairobi for the second edition of the IoT and AI summit organised by CIO East Africa. The event will cover both business and technical discussions around IoT and AI providing insights and knowledge for executives who are expected to design and develop their adoption roadmaps.

The summit will help participants explore how they can leverage IoT and AI to drive digital transformation in their businesses and key considerations from both legal and risk perspectives on adopting these technologies, using IoT Data to drive customer engagement and more.
More than 30 speakers have been lined up including keynotes from Ben Roberts, CTIO, Liquid Telecom and Geoff Brown, Managing Director, Amazon Web Services, Sub-Sahara Africa. Other speakers include Karien Bornheim, CEO, FABS; Eric Odipo, CEO, Multichoice; Peter Mungai, Ag Director IT, Kenya Airways; Kenneth Ogwang, CIO, East Africa Breweries Limited; George Njuguna, CIO, HF Group and John Wachira, CIO, Mabati Rolling Mills.
