Hitachi goes for co-creation of IoT digital transformation outcomes

Hitachi Vantara sponsored the second IoT & AI Summit organized by CIO East Africa in Nairobi, Kenya with affirmation of its commitment to sustain the momentum of co-creating IoT digital transformation outcomes.

While making a presentation titled IoT Co-Creation for Digital Transformation Outcomes, Muendo asserted that technology has advanced in the last decade in ways that make solving highly complex issues possible.

At the moment, virtually every industry, every business is under pressure in the digital transformation journey stated Muendo adding: “The advent of digitization, cloud computing and now the Internet of Things (IoT) has given us the tools we need to build the infrastructure for a safer, more efficient, and sustainable society,” he said.

Muendo pointed out that following Hitachi’s 106 years of experience in manufacturing OT and 57 years of experience in delivering advanced IT solutions, the organization has the pedigree that positions it as highly qualified highly qualified in delivering IoT solutions, which depend upon a successful integration of operational and information technology.
