Entrust DataCard has penned its sponsorship towards the forthcoming East Africa InsureTech Forum, curated by CIO East Africa.
Now on its second year running, the forum is themed to Harness Innovation For Customer Driven Insurance and will be hosted in a virtual space.
Its well-thought-out agenda explores the thematic concerns of the current insurance industry, culminating into the needs of the insurers, insured, and the industry service/solution providers. One such topic Fostering A Secure Environment for Change will be discoursed by representatives from the ambassadors of security, entrustdatacard.com.
The company offers Secure ID Solutions, card personalisation systems, passport systems & security, card delivery and fulfilment systems, among others, and is specialised in PKI, SSL/TLS, multifactor authentication, physical/logical access, digital certificates, and signatures, alongside identity-based security, IoT, IIoT, financial instant issuance, access control, bureau solutions, and generally trusted identities.
“Entrust DataCard offers the trusted identity and secure transaction technologies that make business transactions especially those online, reliable and secure,” reads a statement from the company. “Our solutions range from the physical world of financial cards, passports, and ID cards to the digital realm of authentication, certificates, and secure communications.”
Entrust prides itself on delivering an invaluable convenience to members and helping them reduce costs, which ultimately benefit the members. Its IdentityGuard platform, for example, allows clients to use one solution to secure multiple applications.
“We needed strong PKI technology with good support and a technically sound team to use the solution on a sustainable basis,” says Girdhar Varliani General Manager (n)Code Solutions at Gujarat, India. “Whenever we have required changes or patches to remain compliant, Entrust Datacard has been very supportive.”
To better serve their clients, Entrust recently acquired a market-leading general hardware security module business from Thales. The acquisition will allow the company to extend further its ability to provide its customers with solutions that meet their demand for high assurance use cases.
