DStv Kenya airs first world cup match live in Nairobi


DStv Kenya held a live viewing session of the first world cup game featuring Russia and Saudi Arabia at the Impala Sports ground in Nairobi, Kenya’s.

The event featured an appearance on stage by MultiChoice Kenya’s DStv Connect with Greatness Ambassador, Victor Wanyama, who plays as a midfielder for English premier league side, Tottenham Hotspur’s.

Speaking while signing Wanyama on as an ambassador, MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director Eric Odipo described him as the ideal brand ambassador to represent Kenya as he plays for the national team and Spurs, in the English Premier League.

As part of his duties in his role Wanyama kicked the day off by interacting with kids during a DStv football clinic ahead of the first match which ended in a 5-0 win to Russia.
