Corine Mbiakectha Nana to head Oracle Kenya following Dr. Saggia’s exit in November

She takes over from Dr. Gilbert Saggia, who is now the managing director at SAP East Africa. Dr. Saggia oversaw the Oracle Business in Kenya from February 2013 to November 2016.

Based out of the Kenya Hub, Mbiakectha Nana will be responsible for developing and managing technology revenue in 25 African countries across West, Central, and East Africa.

She joined Oracle in 2000 as the business development manager of Business Intelligence and Data-Warehousing for Africa. Headhunted by SAP four years later to develop Nigeria Financial Services and the French Speaking Africa Market, she later rejoined Oracle as the financial services representative for the same region.

Mbiakectha Nana also chairs the Sub-Sahara Africa Public Sector Board at Oracle. She holds a Master in European Business with Technology from both the University of Brighton in the U.K. and Pole Universitaire Leonard de Vinci in France.

She is also a distinguished Master Trainer of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a subsidiary of the World Bank, in the field of SMB capacity building, and the International Labor Office (ILO) for gender consideration in development plans.
