CIO East Africa set to host the 10th CIO100 summit and Awards

CIO East Africa shall for the tenth year host the CIO100 Summit and Awards at the Lake Naivasha Resort on 21st and 22nd November 2019.

An annual event on its 10th year and running, CIO100 Summit and Awards is aimed to recognize and honor the contribution made by technology experts in the East Africa space, those behind the glossy end products that make life exciting and who, do not get to blow their trumpets regarding their success stories.

Commenting on the greatly awaited event, Laura Chite, CEO CIO East Africa said; “The CIO 100 Symposium is the most powerful gathering of CIOs and senior IT and business executives. This is where you will network with the top leaders in IT in East Africa, forge new partnerships and prepare to be inspired.”

Themed; ‘Harnessing Innovation in the age of Automation‘, the event shall host over 400 top notch technology practitioners in the region, both as vendors and end users and will be segmented into different sessions with the a women in technology session also HerNovation kicking off and thereafter numerous plenary and panel sessions. There also shall be an exclusive CEO breakfast roundtable.

Already on boarded in the bandwidth of the 10th CIO100 include sponsors like Sage East Africa, Microsoft, HP, CopyCat Group, Redington and BalckBerry among others all who will among other things, deliberate on Automation; its pros and cons or as recently mentioned by an industry leader at a recent CIO Survey forum, its angels and demons.

The forum offers an opportunity to attendees to engage and interact with one another thereby exchanging information and developing professional and/or social contacts. They will also engage in the Intensive Discussion Sessions in order to explore the various aspects affecting Information Technology in the industry.

To wrap up the two days will be a Gala Dinner and Awards whence the best technology projects get to be recognized. The awards are categorized differently and vetted by a team of able judges, all whose contribution to the industry have been or is still felt to date.
