Sleekness is one thing that crosses any assembly’s or manufacturer’s mind especially when the goal is to sell this particular product and keep up with the competitive world full of others trying to lure customers on buying their products.

The Acer Aspire 5745PG-3882, can be termed it as “A Slap on the face” because of its beauty.  With its astonishing features, this gadget is coupled with multitouch features, a crispy display and powerful audio features that put it on top of the multimedia capability environment. I understand one would question about how it handles graphics. Well, the Aspire is not incorporated with inbuilt 3D graphics acceralator to boost its graphics performance like the Armada Touch MT20X which has an application that allows mapping of common peripherals commands to the screen multitouch interface for gaming and design.  This is countered by its unique multitouch software utility that facilitates the easy working of everyday applications like listening to music, surfing the web and watching movies with simple games that don’t need a lot of system and graphics attention.

The graphics parent is the Nvidia GeForce GT 330M GPU though this power didn’t pin down the Radeon HD 5650 planted on the MT20X and this can be examined on the basis of a gamer perspective, the old Call of Duty 4. At a 1650*1050 resolution, the Aspire 5745PG-3882 managed to achieve a 28fps frame rate which is ok for a mobile game Aspire. Too much on the graphics, let’s see what processor life Aspire 5745PG-3882 brings on the table; this machine was able to get through the concept test more than the 20 percent faster than the zero-point when running multi – threaded , content creation applications . This is an indication that its dual- core 2.4GHz Core i5-450 processor is much faster than the zero-point’s 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo T9900.

Two hours and thirty seven minutes was the recorded battery life for the Aspire 5745PG-3882 that is according to the stress and demanding tests which is much better than the MT20X which lasted for one hour and thirty three minutes . According to reviewers, this is enough to watch the Lord of the Rings, though still low especially to the standard notebook of this kind. At a cost of US $900, the Aspire 5745PG-3882 can be a perfect tool for end users.
