Telkom Kenya re-launches high speed 3G+ internet service CIO East Africa

Telkom Kenya’s commercial brand Orange has unveiled its new broadband offer under the product name Orange Internet Everywhere (IEW) 3G+. This offer is set to provide users with the widest 3G+ coverage in the country through a simple reliable and easy to use internet connection. This offer which comes with an attractive package comes as a delight to heavy internet users including bloggers and other IT executives. Internet Everywhere 3G + will be particularly useful to frequent travellers and company executives who need to log into their company intranets wherever they are. Internet Everywhere 3G + is one of the channels Orange is set to use to target a wider subscriber a wider broadband subscriber base once it connects to the TEAMS cable later this quarter. The impressive value added incentives which include: The benefits of the service include; no connection fees, device cost FREE for postpaid customers and affordable device cost for pre paid customers,3G+ internet connection, free ‘Orange’ email addresses, access to enterprise intranet corporate customers,24 hour web interface access – Orange broadband portal, free email notifications and access to controlled auto bar for postpaid customers. In comparison to other services in the market, Orange’s IEW 3G+ offer has the best value for money with offers ranging from sh. 1.9 per MB/s. The start-up kit for the prepaid offer will retail at only 3’990 inclusive of a 25 MB bundle. Tickets for the Kikwetu Festival are available for sh. 500 at the Peponi, Mega, Extelecoms, Nairobi West and Industrial area Orange Customer Experience Centres’s.
