Telkom Kenya in partnership talks with the Judiciary Yusuf Wangara
The government is in talks with Telkom Kenya to offer data services to improve the speed of court cases in the Kenyan judicial systems. Speaking during the official opening ceremony of the Visa Oshwal Expo, the Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs Mutula Kilonzo said Kenyans were not happy with the slow pace of court processes and said talks were ongoing to improve the services. He said they wanted to make everything in the government ICT compliant come 2013. Telkom Kenya Deputy Chief Executive Officer Peter Reinartz said the participation of the company in the expo that was now in the second year had given it an opportunity to reiterate its association with the SME sector which is growing exponentially.
“With a data base of over 4,000 SMEs as customers of Telekom Kenya, we have witnessed the growth of the SME sector in this country and we are glad that with these developments, the sector has also adopted a deeper appreciation of the advantages associated with ICT in running efficient operations”, said Reinartz.
He said the advent of reliable communication solutions through wireless, fixed or fibre networks heralds a new connectivity era where voice, data and video are now accessible features for all businesses.
“We have lined up a display of a number of exciting offers ranging from special deals on our corporate services, unbelievable offers on data to your desired capacity plus free consultation by our teams on how to better optimize your current communication services”.
