Oracle to hold Open Day in Nairobi CIO East Africa Writer
Information technology firm Oracle plans to mark its entry into the Kenyan market with an open day on November 11th.
The interactive session is part of a series of events dubbed 'More Expertise. More Innovation. More Insight', to be staged in 28 cities across Africa, Eastern and Central Europe and the Middle East.
Oracle's latest activity comes on the back of the hugely successful Oracle OpenWorld 2011 conference that took place in San Francisco with more than 45,000 delegates in attendance. Each event will be dedicated to showing both Oracle customers and prospective clients how the power of simplicity can change IT to a force that can drive business information.
"Oracle OpenWorld was an incredibly exciting event to attend and see Oracle launch such a wide range of innovative products," said Tina Patel, Oracle Country Manager, Kenya.
"The event brought to life the power of hardware and software, engineered to work together to bring unmatched benefits to businesses everywhere. Through these Oracle Day events, we want to take this excitement out to as many people as we can."
Some of the developments that will be on show include Oracle's public and private cloud computing solutions, new ways of maximizing IT efficiency and driving business value and all that needs to be known about fully integrated and open business applications.
