The HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One has been awarded the European Office Product Awards (EOPA) New Product Innovation Award.
The award, presented at Paperworld in Frankfurt, was received by the Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One for its integration of HP’s innovative ePrint technology into a compelling professional-quality printer. Using the 10.9 cm touchscreen, users can access apps and print from the web without a PC or print from anywhere with HP ePrint.

Steve Hilleard, CEO of Office Products International Ltd, organisers of the EOPA dinner, said: “This web-connected printer allows users to print from any mobile device. The judges considered it to be the first of its kind; a market-changing product. Being able to print without needing a computer is a new concept that perfectly meets the user’s need. When it came to the vote, the decision was almost unanimous.”
HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One series is designed to support small businesses in making their best impression with professional-quality colour prints, marketing materials or other business documents for up to 50 percent lower cost per page and using up to 50 percent less energy than the majority of colour laser printers.
“This award is a great accolade for a product range that pushes the boundaries for inkjet printing for SMBs, “ says Carlos Bello, Officejet Brand Manager Europe, Middle East and Africa. “The HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One series is designed to deliver professional colour documents at a lower cost per page than laser printers. We’re proud that our innovation has been recognised in this way.”
