Compulynx has been awarded a contract to implement a Point of Sale (PoS) system for state owned Seychelles Duty Free outlets.
Compulynx PoS solution comprises of a point-of-sale, back-office, promotion, consolidation and loyalty software. POS is a computer based touch screen tills.
Seychelles Duty Free operates airport retail shops at the Seychelles International airport at both departure and arrival lounges.
Compulynx Chief Executive Officer, Sailesh Savani said, "the solution is expected to give a better visibility on sales and inventory thus increase turnover and maximize profitability. The loyalty module will also help the firm to retain customers, get better visibility of customer buying patterns and behavior as well as give them better service."

Sailesh also added that "The point of sale system we are deploying is expected to enhance the shopping experience for customers through faster and more efficient checkout services for customers,"

Seychelles Duty Free outlets are owned by state owned, Seychelles Trading Company (STC) a trading company, with its core business being the imports, storage, retail and distribution of consumer, essential as well as Fast Moving Consumer goods (FMCG).

STC engages in trading of certain branded FMCG products from reputable international sources, and operates a retail presence in the domestic market and the duty free sector.

Seychelles Duty Free outlets serve an average of 15000 customers in a month.
