UUNET Kenya has achieved the prestigious Express Foundation award in East Africa in recognition of quality services in data provision. This is after the company met all the resource requirements for the for the award.  The Express Foundation is a Cisco partner program for first technology specialization that integrates key solutions for Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and security products. Specifically designed to focus on the customer network infrastructure and supporting new network capabilities.  

According to Cisco, UUNET Kenya achieved this after demonstrating that it was capable of selling, installing and supporting Cisco solutions in East Africa. “We value the commitment and expertise that UUNET Kenya has demonstrated and look forward to a successful partnership” a statement from the Cisco Channel Certification Team said. Cisco has previously recognized UUNET Kenya as a Virtual Private Networking and firewall specialized partner, foundation express (Routing & switching Wireless & Security) specialized partner and Small and Medium Select Business partner. UUNET-Kenya, currently one of the leading corporate data solutions provider recently transferred all its clients from satellite powered internet to fibre capacity and at the same time doubled their capacities in the process thus directly transferring the cost savings to them.
