CIO East Africa gets new Chief Peter Nalika
Louisa Kadzo is the new Chief Editor at CIO East Africa. She takes over from Zachary Ochieng whom has since left the organisation to pursue other interests. Louisa is an old hand in publishing and previously worked as an Editor with East African Educational Publishers and Macmillan Publishers, the regions largest publishing houses.
Louisa’s passion for editorial excellence has seen her consult and train for large corporations such as Bamburi Cement, British Council, Intellect Consulting, Leadership International among others. She has imparted skills on best editorial practices, targeted writing and title management.
At CIO East Africa, Louisa is keen on giving strategic direction toboth print and online editions, managing editorial content, staff writers, and maintaining high standards for the publications. Through her editorial skills and experience, media contacts and networks, training and mentorship background, Louisa has a vision to see CIO rise to the position of the Leading publication for Senior IT executives in East Africa.

Prior to this position, Louisa was the Assistant Program Manager/Communication Officer at the Flemish Association for Development, Cooperation and Technical assistance, where she managed documentation for policy development, planning and knowledge management.
Louisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences – Publishingand Media Major– from Moi University, Kenya. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Communication at Daystar University.
