100 patients to benefit from LG-Hotpoint sponsorship Yusuf Wangara

<!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->LG Electronics and Hotpoint in partnership with PCEA Kikuyu hospital have sponsored 100 patients from Nyeri Town for an artificial limp operation. According to Woo Won Na, the Managing Director, LG Electronics, the company will be spending US$30,000 (KSh 2.4 Million)  this year in supporting the initiative and promised to increase the fund to US$50,000 (KSh 4 Million) to support 200 patients next year.The initiative is meant to resonate the LG Electronics slogan “Life is Good” in giving hope back the society especially to the disabled persons who have lost their limps either to clashes, accidents or natural disaster. “Given that LG’s Electronics profits have increased over the years the establishments of business in Kenya, we saw this as one of the ways that we could give back to the society which have been continuing to support our products and brand. This shows our commitment to society needs” said Na.
