Retail therapy is set to change in this region; what with the technological innovations being displayed by the likes of MyOrder. This service provides retailers with an online shop which buyers can access and purchase items online. It is a real time mobile ordering platform that puts a "mobile menu" in the hands of a customer. Items that you have for sale can be selected, and orders placed.

By providing shoppers with at-your-door services, retailers can be brought closer to their customers and therefore bypassing the geographical limitations placed by a physical shop. This will in turn increase sales and allow the sellers to manage funds received from clients.

So how does it work? The platform is available via a mobile website with which the customer can select a retailer, choose an item to buy, select added features, and pay via mobile menu or other internet payment platforms. Then the system will automatically send an SMS to the retailer who will then confirm or decline the order via SMS to the client again. Service delivery will tremendously improve with such services and it will definitely increase the joy in the shopping experience for many a shopper.

This service is targeted for small retailers who can either access the service through their mobile phone, or via the internet, with a platform that allows the seller to track sales. Further the service has partnered with a mobile money platform service (Kopo Kopo) who also provide a platform to track and bank payments.

They have also partnered with delivery companies to ensure that the retailer does not have to worry about how the items are delivered and using the economies of scale are able to provide better and faster services to their customers.
