HP in partnership with Computech Limited today held a seminar to enlighten their customers on how to increase business competitive edge by changing their networking rules. Businesses in East Africa will be able to break the status quo in networking by employing converged networking architecture that spans from the virtualized data center to the virtual workplace for cloud, multimedia and mobile services with integrated security solutions.

“When we engage our customers, we talk to them about how each solution aligns to key initiatives. Hardware devices like switches, routers, wireless mobility and security products can be aligned to initiatives like unified communications and collaboration, or video, or server virtualization,” says  Mr Dipak Galaiya, Director of Computech limited. This will connect various technologies and enable them to communicate, businesses will have a converged infrastructure that allow them to optimize their systems to be agile and flexible.
On the other hand HP brings to bear simplified architectures by removing layers of devices, simplifying three tiers to two, which saves on capital equipment and also saves on the ongoing operation of that environment allowing room for innovation.
