Facebook is on fire and so is LinkedIn, Twitter, Myspace and a host of other really nice tools that help you keep in touch and share photos with friends and family. Most of these tools came in a wave that was baptised web 2.0 or the next generation of the internet where the consumers participate in the production of the information they consume. Increased interaction of sorts that gives internet users the power to create their own experience on the web.
